11 teddy bear "advance troops" have been deployed  Taichung's Zhongshan Park makes its first appearance

The Taichung Teddy Bear Exhibition left "bear fans" wanting more. The newly launched "side story" will continue the teddy bear journey in Taichung. An "advance troop" consisting of 11 teddy bears affiliated with the Taichung City Government will make their first appearance at Zhongshan Park in Taichung from today until the 24th.

The hundred teddy bears, which combine elements of Taiwanese characteristics and local Taichung industries, caused a huge sensation during their one-month exhibition in Taichung, injecting significant tourism business into the area. Now, the teddy bears are embarking on their own individual side journeys. Teddy bears representing ten key local industries of Taichung, as well as the hidden edition unveiled last Christmas, will begin their stay at Zhongshan Park in downtown Taichung starting today.

The 11 teddy bears are: “Lishan Tea Bear, Zhongyuan Coffee Bear, Tourism Factory Bear, Houli Saxophone Industry Bear, Taichung Pastry Bear, Bicycle Bear, Taichung Specialty Cuisine Bear, Machine Tool Bear, Hand Tool Bear, Purple Windmill Bear,” as well as the only one with its own platform allowing visitors to take photos with it — the hidden edition “Taichung TEDDY.”.

The Taichung City Government’s Economic Development Bureau stated that although the teddy bears are scheduled to appear subsequently at locations such as the Autumn Red Valley AAA HOUSE, Twin Oaks AAA Architecture Club, and the Central District Jiguang Business District, they have received many exhibition invitations from various parties who all hope the adorable teddy bears will enhance their venues. Therefore, the city government is still actively coordinating. The final number of teddy bears for actual exhibitions will be announced after adjustments.

As for whether the 11 “bear babies” will continue traveling around after their exhibition at Zhongshan Park ends, the Economic Development Bureau said future exhibitions are planned to feature them interspersed with other teddy bears, allowing the public to enjoy the charming appearances of each unique teddy bear again.
