Taichung recently launched the Taichung Flower Expo Card, available for application by residents of Taichung. The card offers a variety of benefits, including discounts at 2,600 affiliated stores, free one-day admission to the Taichung Flower Expo, and half-price parking at public garages. These perks aim to help residents explore Taichung with ease through the Flower Expo Card.

Taichung Flower Expo recently announced its first list of affiliated stores, with over 700 stores (including branches) launching their discounts in July and August. Simply present your Taichung Flower Expo ticket or the Flower Expo Card to enjoy these special offers.

The affiliated stores cover various categories such as food, clothing, accommodation, transportation, education, and entertainment. They include A-Kuan Hot Pot Expert, Sun Tang Food Enterprise Co., Ltd., Kitashita Sukiyaki Specialty Store, Red Ghost Grilled Steak, Tokyu Hands and HOLA, Silks Place, and The Lalu Hotel. Additionally, KFC and Pizza Hut are offering “Flower Expo Discount Combos” and “Flower-Viewing Couples Sets,” while Lavender Cottage and Garden of Eden provide free admission.
From September 1, 2018, to April 30, 2019, use the Flower Expo Card to enter and exit public parking lots in Taichung City and enjoy a 50% discount on parking fees.
Aside from enjoying over 2,000 affiliated store benefits during the Flower Expo by presenting the card, holders can also gain free one-day admission to the Taichung Flower Expo. Future visits will also come with a 50% discount. The Flower Expo Card functions as an EasyCard, granting free bus rides for up to 10 kilometers. The latest perk allows a 50% discount on parking fees at public garages in Taichung City from September 1, 2018, to April 30, 2019, when using the Flower Expo Card.

The Taichung Flower Expo kicks off on November 3, 2018, and the Flower Expo Card has been open for applications to Taichung residents since March 1, 2018. Starting September 3, 2018, residents can apply in person at district offices and receive their cards on-site.
