Yushan National Park

Yushan National Park, located in the central part of Taiwan, features a cluster of towering peaks, with over 30 mountains standing above 3,000 meters.

Spanning four counties—Nantou, Chiayi, Hualien, and Kaohsiung—the park covers a total area of approximately 105,490 hectares. It is characterized by typical subtropical alpine geology, with terrain dominated by high mountains and river valleys. Amidst these rugged peaks and deep valleys lie not only a rich variety of geographical landscapes, but also some of the most precious natural resources and ecological environments. The park aims to sustain life in its most natural form, preserving its pristine beauty. Hikers are encouraged to act with environmental consciousness and a sense of responsibility toward future generations, cherishing and protecting nature.
