A Knowledge Tour in Puli & Nantou’s Hot Spring Season
Nantou County boasts beautiful mountains and waters, rich natural resources, and numerous tourist attractions. Winter is also known for its hot springs, one of the area's highlights. This year, Nantou continues the series of hot spring events from previous years, launching the “Bike Tour Visiting Hot Spring Towns” and “iSlowPlay – Puli Hot Spring Knowledge Tour” activities from November 13 to December 18, inviting people from all over Taiwan to experience the cultural charm of Nantou’s hot spring areas.

In addition to the existing Lushan and Dongpu hot springs, new hot spring areas were discovered in Puli, Sun Moon Lake, and Guoxing after the 921 earthquake, adding more diversity to Nantou’s tourism resources. A trip through Nantou allows you to take in the beauty of Taiwan’s high mountains and flowing waters.

Since the launch of the annual Hot Spring Season, Nantou has effectively showcased its abundant natural resources. The “2010 Nantou Hot Spring Season” builds on past experiences by integrating local industry features to introduce Nantou’s hot spring offerings to consumers of all ages, aiming to create a distinctive image of Nantou as a hot spring destination. The “iSlowPlay – Puli Hot Spring Knowledge Tour” features diverse and creative activities such as unique hot spring experiences, hot spring oolong tea, coffee wellness cuisine, guided bike tours to hot spring towns, hot spring tours with commentary, hot spring lucky bags, as well as the “Divine Trees & Pupils Concert” and the “Puli Happiness Fingerprint Market.” Those who register before spots fill up can also receive experience vouchers.
