Taiwan's Zhenguosi Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Also known as the World Peace Pagoda, Zhenguosi Temple is situated on the slopes of Guangming Village in Jiji Township, Nantou County, Taiwan. Surrounded by an elegant environment and offering expansive views, it is not only a sacred Buddhist site but also a beautiful recreational destination, blending religious significance with tourism.

Zhenguosi Temple is a Pure Land Buddhism chanting sanctuary and also functions as a spiritual retreat in Nantou County that nurtures the soul. The temple houses a 36-foot statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and bronze statues of the Five Tathagatas, along with 108 copper prayer wheels that visitors can turn as they circumambulate the pagoda. The Buddha Relic Stupa within the temple is said to be the tallest of its kind in Southeast Asia, offering panoramic views of Jiji Township from atop. In addition, the temple features a 42-foot bronze statue of the Four-Faced Guanyin, eighteen arhats, and a 42-foot Ashoka Pillar. This towering pillar stands as if projecting the boundless reach of the Dharma, presenting an awe-inspiring sight.
