Sixty Stone Mountain

Sixty Stone Mountain is located on a ridge that extends westward from the Eastern Coastal Mountain Range in Zhutian Village, Fuli Township, Hualien County. With an elevation of about 800 meters, the mountain features steep slopes and a gently undulating, expansive summit. It earned the name "Sixty Stone Mountain" due to the scattered large rocks on its surface. By turning east off Provincial Highway 9 and following the Sixty Stone Mountain Farm Road (which is two to four meters wide), you can drive for about ten to fifteen minutes along the winding road to reach the summit. Once there, you’ll be greeted by a vast expanse of green fields, resembling a golden needle flower farm blanketed by a green carpet. A few winding dirt farm roads twist across the landscape, dotted with red-roofed farmhouses and clusters of green woods, giving visitors the feeling of being in a highland farm in Europe.
