Changchun Shrine

Changchun Shrine is a cultural tourism attraction.

Changchun Shrine is located not far from the entrance of Taroko Gorge in Hualien County, Taiwan. Within the shrine, memorial tablets honor the 212 workers who lost their lives during the construction of the Central Cross-Island Highway. These tablets pay tribute to these great heroes. As we admire the dramatic and breathtaking scenery along the highway, let us not forget to pay our highest respects to them.
