Ruisui Ranch is an open leisure farm located in Ruisui Township, Hualien County, Taiwan, renowned for its free-range dairy cows and dairy product production. The water on the ranch comes from the clean sources of the Central Mountain Range, resulting in lush pasture and fresh air that are ideal for raising dairy cattle. The cows that graze on this pasture are generally healthy and robust, and the milk they produce is of high quality, with each cow yielding an average of about twenty kilograms of milk per day. In recent years, the government has strongly promoted agrotourism and leisure agriculture, leading to a continuous increase in visitors to Ruisui Ranch. As a result, the ranch has evolved from a simple grassland farm into a diversified tourist destination.

The milk produced by the cows at Ruisui Ranch is processed by Uni-President Enterprises, and has gained fame across Taiwan through the “Uni-President Ruisui Fresh Milk” advertising campaign. To serve visitors, the ranch is open to the public year-round free of charge. In addition to being able to drink freshly squeezed and cooked rich milk every day, visitors can also enjoy fragrant, warm fresh milk buns. Though small in size, these buns burst with a rich milky flavor with every bite. Cheese cakes, fresh cheese, nougat, and a variety of dairy ice creams are also popular among visitors.

In addition to raising dairy cows, Ruisui Ranch also features an ostrich viewing area where visitors can get up close and even feed the ostriches. Moreover, due to the ranch’s excellent natural conditions, various wild birds such as egrets, common mynas, and yellow wagtails also come here to rest, adding another scenic charm to the ranch.
