Taian Waterfall is located in the Caulan Mountain area to the south of Qidu, also known as the Caulan Mountain Waterfall. Due to historically limited transportation, it has retained its simple and natural scenery. With beautiful and pristine landscapes, it features designated areas for barbecuing, camping, playing in the water, and mountain hiking trails. It's a popular spot for camping and outdoor excursions. Upon entering from the waterfall entrance, visitors can choose between two shaded walking paths: the left path runs along the stream and retains a somewhat wild jungle-like atmosphere. Following it leads to the camping and barbecue areas. The camping area, due to lack of use, has become somewhat overgrown. If you take the right path from the entrance and walk uphill, you will reach Taian Waterfall. The waterfall is about 20 meters high and cascades down the mountainside, pooling into a clear basin. Swimming here, you might occasionally spot water birds perched on the rocks near the falls — a truly charming sight. Walking along the mountain-looping trail beside the waterfall around Caulan Mountain offers a healthy forest bathing experience, allowing you to enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty of the dense woods and bamboo groves. It's an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
