Keelung Bus Route 788 Detours via National Museum of Marine Science and Technology – Travel from Keelung All the Way to Northeast Coast

Travelers heading to the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology in Keelung have a new option. The areas around Ruifang’s Shueinand Jinguangjiu (Shuei-Gold-Jiu) region are now fully connected with the museum, as some trips of Keelung Bus’ “Route 788 Keelung–Jinguashi” will detour via Xinfeng Street and stop at the museum beginning August 1. This enables visitors to enjoy both mountain and seaside attractions along the way.

The New Taipei City Government’s Department of Transportation stated that Route 788 operates 142 trips daily, with 18 weekday trips and 12 weekend/holiday trips adjusted to detour through the “National Museum of Marine Science and Technology.” Route 788 departs from Keelung Railway Station and stops at the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology, Ruifang Railway Station, Jiufen Old Street, Gold Museum, Golden Waterfall, and Shuinandong, among other popular attractions. It links the transportation and tourism of the Shuei-Gold-Jiu region and Keelung area, expanding services for tourists.

With the route adjustment, travelers can now start from Keelung and explore all the way to the northeast coast, closely connecting the tourist spots of the Shuei-Gold-Jiu area and Keelung. This brings the crowds from Jiufen and Jinguashi to Keelung, boosting regional development.
