The Kaohsiung Hotel Association has launched a care initiative for the gas explosion disaster area. A total of 48 hotels, including Yusu, Kangqiao, Zongxin, Jingjing Holidays, Huaxiang Business Travel, Jiufu, Hanpin, Hanwang, Humanitarian International, and Zunlong, responded together on August 1st by offering accommodation to disaster victims and relief workers to help them get through this critical rescue period.

The free services, number of rooms, and dates provided by each hotel are listed below. Businesses advise that those in need of accommodation should call ahead to confirm room availability before visiting.
