Keelung Port Cruise Beauty Photography Contest – Capture the Harbor Charm of Northern Taiwan

May in Keelung Port can be described as entering “International Cruise Month,” with large international cruise ships and ferries continuously coming and going from the port, making the northern Taiwan harbor quite lively this month. The Keelung Harbor Branch has launched the “Keelung Port – The Beauty of Cruises” photography contest starting the 10th, inviting participants to capture through their lenses the harbor charm woven together by the city and cruise ships.

Following the recent announcementthat five large international cruise ships will be berthed at Keelung Port on the 18th,the Keelung Harbor Branch once again announced on its official fan page that this Saturday from morning to evening, the Royal Caribbean International’s “Explorer of the Seas” and Star Cruises’ “SuperStar Aquarius” will dock at Keelung Port. It is expected that nearly 4,000 passengers will embark and disembark here, and interested members of the public can go to enjoy the scene.

Meanwhile, the “Keelung Port – The Beauty of Cruises” photography contest, which began on the 10th, specifies that the theme must involve cruise ships docked at Keelung Port between May 10 and June 9. Both daytime and nighttime scenes are allowed. However, to avoid copyright disputes, all entries must be previously unpublished works. Participants needing access to the harbor area for shooting may apply for a harbor access pass from the Administrative Section of the Secretariat of the Keelung Harbor Branch from now until five days before the contest deadline.

All entries must be printed as 6x8-inch photos and submitted to the Administrative Section of the Secretariat of the Keelung Harbor Branch by 5 PM on June 18. The contest will undergo a public judging session on June 27, selecting Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners with prizes of NT$10,000, NT$8,000, and NT$5,000 respectively, as well as 10 Honorable Mentions each receiving NT$1,000, and 10 Selected Entries receiving souvenirs.
