Chong Har Ching Ser

Chong Har Ching Ser (Chong Har Ching Ser) is located on Huanggang Shan (next to Cheung Wah Estate) in Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is a branch of Chong Har Dong, a branch of the Xiantian Dao sect based in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, founded by Mr. Zhu Hanting. It is a Taoist temple dedicated to rigorous spiritual practice. The deities worshipped include: Guanyin, Lü Dongbin, Beidi, Guan Yu, the Three Pure Ones, Huanglong Zhenren, and Confucius. The main festivals celebrated here are the Three Yuan Festivals and the Ghost Festival.

Chong Har Ching Ser was established in 1920, and the current buildings date back to the 1950s. From the outside, the structure appears to be a small, two-courtyard quadrangle layout.

In addition to its Taoist activities, Chong Har Ching Ser actively supports and participates in the restoration of Chong Har Dong in Qingyuan, Guangdong, and is involved in public welfare initiatives. The temple also collaborates with several other Xiantian Dao temples to run Xiantian Dao elderly care homes, providing services for seniors.
