Panlong Road

Panlong Road is located within Tieketi Township, Habahe County, north of the county town, a straight-line distance of 70 kilometers and 20 kilometers from Tieketi Township, accessible via a border road.

It lies in the mid-low mountainous border area of the Altai Mountains, bordered by Baihaba River to the west and facing Kazakhstan across the river. The terrain is fairly rugged, with the road cutting through coniferous and birch forests on the shaded slopes. Looking around, the vegetation coverage is nearly 100%, and two silvery roads spiral around the mountainsides, creating a breathtaking scene of “silver snakes dancing on the mountains.” Opposite lie the vast mountain ranges of Kazakhstan, with faintly visible snow-capped peaks in the distance. In spring and summer, the area is lush and green; in autumn, reds, yellows, and greens intermingle; and in winter, it transforms into a world of pure white—each season offering visitors stunning views.
