On the summit day, at three in the morning, nothing could be felt in the pitch-black darkness except oneself. Before departure, local guides reminded everyone that this was the first ascent after the first snowfall on Haba Snow Mountain, with winds reaching force 8 to 9. Under such conditions, reaching the summit posed significant risks, and everyone was advised to assess their own capabilities, prioritizing safety above all. No snow mountain is free of unpredictable dangers, no matter how easy it may seem, especially under specific time and environmental conditions — and this trip to Haba Snow Mountain was no exception. In the end, despite the harsh environment, eight team members successfully reached the summit, and all descended safely.
