This Haba Snow Mountain recruitment is the first climbing program launched by Camel Outdoor Club in early 2015, with technical support from the Haba Mountaineering Association. Haba Snow Mountain is located in the southeastern part of Shangri-La County, with its highest peak at an altitude of 5396 meters and the lowest river surface at only 1550 meters. It is a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Lijiang. In addition to passing through the ancient town of Lijiang, you can also enjoy the majestic Tiger Leaping Gorge, the dreamlike riverside villages, and Haba Village.
Haba Snow Mountain is defined as a beginner-level snow mountain in the outdoor community and has become a paradise for snow mountain enthusiasts. Since its first successful ascent in 1995, hundreds of people have reached the summit every year. With dense forests, high oxygen levels, low latitude, relatively mild climate, short climbing duration, and no overly difficult terrain, this trip runs from April 26 to April 30, within the optimal climbing season for Haba Snow Mountain (mid-March to end of June and mid-September to mid-December). This recruitment is open to anyone aged 20 to 45 without any medically diagnosed conditions unsuitable for mountaineering (such as congenital heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases, myocarditis and other heart conditions, arrhythmia and coronary artery disease, abnormally high or low blood sugar, etc.). Those with extensive outdoor climbing experience will be given priority.
The biggest highlight of this recruitment is that CAMEL Camel will provide one-on-one high-altitude support, with professional leaders and support staff who have years of climbing experience to ensure climbing safety. The cost is quite affordable – only 3380 RMB per person (including accommodation, mountain registration fee, meals during the activity, Tiger Leaping Gorge admission ticket, high-altitude coach, guide, high-altitude support staff, transportation fees, etc.).
