The Edke Red Leaf Forest is located northwest of Edke (a person's name) in Jialang'ashi Village, Salburak Township, Hoboksar Mongol Autonomous County, covering a total area of 2,600 mu. The European aspens growing on the western desert here turn completely red in autumn, just like the red leaves of Fragrant Hills, dyeing the entire desert crimson. As the song goes, “My passion is like a flame, burning the whole desert.” The sun turns red, the trees turn red, the desert turns red, and even the people turn red.

In the distance, the blue sky, white clouds, and snow-capped mountains complement the nearby sand dunes, white sand, European aspens, red leaves, and emerald ground junipers—forming a perfect picture. Every year, it attracts many photographers and painters to create their works here.
