Naren Scenic Area

Naren Scenic Area is located in a relatively flat mountain basin in the northern mountainous region of Habahe County, about a straight-line distance of 100 km. The area boasts lush water and grass, a cool and pleasant summer climate, herds of cattle and sheep, and scattered white yurts that dot the beautiful grasslands. As visitors walk along the mountain trails, they feel as if they are immersed in seas of blooming flowers and swaying grass. Wild peonies, tree peonies, lilies, wild globeflowers, and more compete in a riot of colors—some as red as fire, some as white as snow, and others as golden as brass. At the edge of these floral seas and grassy waves lies an endless expanse of Siberian taiga composed of precious tree species such as spruce, fir, and red birch, vast and majestic. Naren Scenic Area is well-preserved in terms of its environment. Most visitors to Habahe County are willing to make a detour to this area to witness the unique charm of the Alpine summer pastures.
