Ashile Mining Scenic Area

The Ashile Mining Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The scenic area of the Ashile Copper Mine in Habahe County boasts a beautiful environment, with over 60,000 artificially planted trees standing proudly against the wind. Lush green belts and patches of lawn have been created on waste rock piles, full of vitality. The mine site features pavilions, flower beds, green grass, fountains, and basketball courts, with a greening rate of 55%. Over 50 million yuan has been invested in environmental protection.

The company has always adhered to the environmental philosophy of “We want gold and silver mountains, but we need lush green mountains and clear waters even more,” and is committed to sustainable and harmonious development. The greening and environmental protection efforts at the mine site have been highly commended by the “Tianshan Environmental Protection Century Journey” campaign team, with environmental management ranking among the top in China’s mining industry.

In January 2008, the Ashile Copper Mine was awarded the honorary title of “National Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site.” In June 2008, the Ashile Copper Mine launched a one-day mine tour.
