The Baliku Mountain Primitive Forest Park Scenic Area is located southwest of Toli County, about 65 kilometers from the county town, offering a panoramic view of the “four-season scenery in one glance.” It can be divided into a tourism area and an operational area. The area includes the Tasite River, whose name in Kazakh means “a riverbed full of pebbles.” The valley is deep, serene, with a width of 100–150 meters at the bottom and slightly undulating terrain. The slopes are steep and densely forested with spruce trees, with a coverage rate of over 90%. The mountains are covered with fragrant wild roses and wild roses, interspersed with precious wild medicinal plants such as Cordyceps, Cynomorium, Cistanche, and Codonopsis. More than 30 species of wild animals, including red deer, argali, and capercaillie, freely roam and breed here. Non-protected animals such as red-billed chukars and Tarim rabbits provide ample opportunities for hunting. The Baliku Mountain Primitive Forest Park Scenic Area enjoys a warm winter and cool summer, with fresh air and high concentrations of negative ions, making it an ideal destination for tourism, summer retreats, and vacationing.
