Shanyin Sansheng Temple

Shanyin Sansheng Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Situated in Yangzhizhuang Village, Heshengpu Township, Shanyin County, the temple faces south, spans 31.5 meters from east to west and 35 meters from north to south, with a total area of 1,102.5 square meters. The original construction date is uncertain, but the existing structures are remnants from the Qing Dynasty. Surviving buildings include the main hall, performance stage, and mountain gate, with a drum tower built on top of the mountain gate and a ruined bell tower. The main hall is five bays wide, four rafters deep, with an additional rafter forming a porch at the front, featuring a single-eave flush gable roof covered with cylindrical and flat tiles. The hall’s beams and brackets are fully painted. The performance stage is three bays wide, four rafters deep, with an additional two rafters serving as a dressing room at the rear, a single-eave roof in the front, and double eaves at the rear. The mountain gate is built on a raised platform, with a flat, horizontal facade and two side wings. A stone stele from the 9th year of the Guangxu era (1873), recording a donation, is also preserved here.
