The Shanyin Thousand Buddha Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Thousand Buddha Temple is located 3 kilometers southwest of Yushuwa Village, Xialaba Township, Shanyin County. It features 55 niches containing hundreds of Buddha statues in various poses and sizes, hence its name. It was established around the Northern Wei Dynasty, and stone inscriptions from the Ming Dynasty's Jiajing era can be found on the cliff face, reading: "Lofty peaks tower over emerald ridges, the most breathtaking sight lies within the white cloud cave. Beneath the Thousand Buddha Cliff lies the Western Paradise, a realm apart from the mortal world."

The Thousand Buddha Temple boasts mysterious ancient caves and an unadorned yet elegant collection of cliffside carvings. It stands backed by towering, rugged cliffs and precipitous rock faces. On the mountain ridge, wildflowers bloom in profusion amid lush greenery, filling the air with fragrance; in the secluded valley, oddly shaped rocks stand densely, with trickling springs; ancient pines and cypresses twist their roots intricately amidst swirling mist, creating a fairy-tale-like landscape.
