The Millennium Walnut King of Hotan is located in Kalawuqi Village, Baghchi Town, Hotan County, about 15 kilometers from downtown Hotan. Research indicates that this tree is over 560 years old, dating back to the Yuan Dynasty, making it an ancient survivor. Despite centuries of wind and rain, the Walnut King still stands tall and majestic, lush and vigorous, presenting visitors with a profound, awe-inspiring beauty. This tree occupies a full acre of land, standing 16.7 meters tall with a crown diameter of 20.6 meters. Its trunk has a circumference of 6.6 meters, and the canopy spans 21.5 meters from east to west and 10.7 meters from north to south. The overall shape of the tree is roughly Y-shaped, and its massive trunk is so wide that it would take more than five adults holding hands to encircle it.
