Bai Dian Gou Site

The Bai Dian Gou Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shuozhou City.

The Bai Dian Gou Site is located approximately 2 kilometers north of Bai Dian Gou Village, Bei Zhou Zhuang Town, Shanyin County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. The site spans about 690 meters from east to west and 230 meters from north to south.

On March 21, 2011, the Bai Dian Gou Site was designated as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Shuozhou City.

Bei Zhou Zhuang Town: Bei Zhou Zhuang Town is a major population center, economic hub, and industrial stronghold in Shanyin County. Within its jurisdiction, National Highway 208, Dayun Highway, and the Beitaung-Pukou Railway run north–south, providing convenient transportation. To the west lies the county’s coal production base, while the dedicated coal transport road, Daima Road, stretches east–west, offering strong resource advantages. As of the end of 2004, the town had a population of 16,730. Its total industrial and agricultural output value reached 1 billion yuan, with local tax revenue totaling 1.63 million yuan and national tax revenue 6.21 million yuan.
