The Song Dynasty Tomb in Qingshui is a cultural relic protection unit of Gansu Province.

The Song Dynasty Tomb in Qingshui is located on the hillside of Dongshan in Shanggui Township, Qingshui County. It was discovered in 1983 and relocated and restored to the east side of Zhao Chongguo’s Mausoleum in 1993. The tomb consists of three parts: a passageway, a corridor, and the burial chamber. The burial chamber is square-shaped, with each side measuring 2.5 meters and a ceiling height of 4 meters. It features a wooden-style, brick-carved, painted pavilion structure. The layout is rigorous, the structure is unique, and the construction is elaborate. The brick carvings depict a rich variety of subjects, including various flowers, birds and beasts, as well as human figures. Artifacts unearthed include bronze mirrors, black-glazed porcelain bowls, and gray pottery jars. The identity of the tomb owner cannot be confirmed, but based on the structure of the burial chamber and the unearthed items, it is believed to have belonged to a wealthy member of the commoner class. The tomb holds significant historical, archaeological, and artistic value, serving as valuable material for studying the folk customs, religion, architecture, and other aspects of the Song and Jin periods.
