Travel with YouTube: Explore War Relics from the Vietnam War in Qingshui, Taichung

The Dayang Oil Depot in Qingshui District, Taichung City, is a historic building that witnessed the Vietnam War. As times have changed, the military significance of the Dayang Oil Depot has gradually diminished. However, there are still many relics from that period remaining in the Qingshui area, holding great historical value. In light of this, the Qingshui District Office of Taichung City has specially organized the “Travel with YouTube” event, aiming to help visitors gain a better understanding of the Qingshui area.

The “Travel with YouTube” event will take place on October 5th, with activities located in the Dayang and Gaobei areas. Anyone interested in the cultural heritage of the Vietnam War sites or in exploring the Qingshui area is welcome to sign up. The event includes visits to old oil dikes, the Gaobei Pressure Station, experiencing life in the Dajia area in the past, as well as sampling local specialty meals.
