The Site of the Ancient Iron Smelting Fortress is a cultural heritage protection unit of Qingshui County.
The Site of the Ancient Iron Smelting Fortress is located on a hilltop to the northwest of Wangdian Village, Huangmen Township, Qingshui County. It dates back to the Song and Yuan dynasties and is classified as an ancient site.
It was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Qingshui County on August 28, 1989.
Protected area: with the central point as the base, east: bounded by the cliff; west: bounded 10 meters west of the western city wall; south: bounded by the edge 12 meters from the broken southern city wall; north: bounded by the small cliff outside the northern city wall.
Construction control zone: extending 30 meters outward from the perimeter boundaries of the protected area in the east, south, west, and north.
