The Shigouyuan Site

The Shigouyuan Site is a cultural relics protection unit of Qingshui County.

The Shigouyuan Site is located 200 meters southeast of Wuwan Village, Hongbao Town, Qingshui County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and is classified as an ancient site.

It was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit of Qingshui County on March 30, 2010.

Protected area: with the central point as the base, to the east: bounded by the Xiaoshi Gully; to the west: bounded by the Wujiagou in the northwest; to the south: bounded by the northern foothills of Chenjiashan; to the north: bounded by the arc-shaped cliff.

Construction control zone: extending 30 meters outward from the perimeter boundaries to the east, south, west, and north of the protected area.

Hongbao Town: Natural Environment: Located in the western part of Qingshui County, Hongbao Town covers a total land area of 81,800 mu, including 33,700 mu of arable land. The average elevation is 1,334 meters, with an average annual rainfall of 550 millimeters, an average annual temperature of 9°C, and a frost-free period of 180 days per year.
