Xipu Park features a karst hill with a relative elevation difference of about 60m

and an 8,400 m² spring-fed pond. The hill is covered with dense trees and fragrant ancient plants, including over a hundred well-preserved old trees. The water pool at the spring outlet is about 1.5–2m deep, with a surface area of around 22 m². There is also a single-arch flat bridge approximately 12m long and 4.5m high, as well as historic structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties such as Longgang Temple, Longquan Temple, a theatrical stage, Guanyin Temple, and Jianfeng Pavilion. The park includes a martyrs' cemetery, wooden pavilions and towers on the large spring pond, a winding wooden corridor over the water, and a newly built 30m-long blue dragon sculpture rising from the water. The park is landscaped with planted trees, flowers, and a developed forest trail system.

Located 4 km northwest of Chengjiang County, adjacent to Luobo Village in Longjie Town at the foothills of Mount Liangwang. The hilly area behind the park, known as Panlonggang Hill, is a karst formation covered with lush ancient woodlands. At the foot of the hill, springs emerge from limestone caves with a flow rate of about 0.4 m³/s, forming the pond. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, four temple pavilions, a theatrical stage, and viewing pavilions were built here. In 1942, it was established as Xipu Park. In 1950, a martyrs’ memorial tower and cemetery were added within the park, and in 1980, further planning and renovation were carried out.

In 1980, it was listed as one of the eight key scenic spots under county-level protection. After 1980, the government allocated special funds for planning and restoration, repairing pavilions, temples, and towers, and adding new attractions such as the giant dragon sculpture in the Xilong Pond. During the annual Dragon Boat Festival period, which spans five days, visitor numbers to the park can exceed 50,000.
