Jinghong Manting Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Manting Park is located in the southeast of Jinghong City, about 2 kilometers from the urban area. It lies in the triangular area where the Lancang River and Liusha River converge, covering an area of 115,400 square meters. The park boasts beautiful scenery, lush greenery, and an abundance of rare teak trees and various fruit trees, making it an ideal destination for sightseeing and leisure.

Manting Park is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna, with a history of over 1,300 years. It was once the royal garden of the Dai kings in Xishuangbanna and historically served as a place for feudal lords and chieftains to enjoy flowers and recreation. Legend has it that when the Dai queen visited the park, its stunning beauty captivated her soul, hence the name "Chunhuan Park," which means "Garden of the Soul" in the Dai language.

Manting Park in Jinghong features both naturally formed landscapes and artificially cultivated exotic flowers, plants, and garden architecture. Visitors can enjoy the rustic natural scenery as well as appreciate the rich ethnic cultural elements. Upon entering the park’s main gate, the first thing you see is a full-body bronze statue commemorating Premier [name] wearing traditional Dai attire, holding a water bowl in his left hand and an olive branch in his right during a water-splashing ceremony. To the left of the statue are two bodhi trees planted by the princess of Thailand, symbolizing the friendship between China and Thailand. The park also includes the sacred Manfeilong Pagoda, a replica of the Xishuangbanna Vaba Jie General Buddhist Temple, and exquisitely crafted replicas of the Jingzhen Octagonal Pavilion, as well as four-cornered and six-cornered pavilions and Dai-style Sala pavilions. Adjacent to the park is the Manting Dai village, together forming a triad of attractions: the park, the village, and the temple.
