Peacock Lake

Peacock Lake is situated in the heart of Jinghong City, spanning 18,700 square meters and encircled by lake water on three sides, with crystal-clear surfaces. Opened as a park in 1977, it includes pavilions, waterside pavilions, a zoo, and flower beds, featuring a variety of exotic blooms and lush tropical greenery. Rare animals such as peacocks, pythons, wild boars, foxes, monkeys, mynas, and thrushes also call the park home. The shores are adorned with vibrant and competing blossoms, while traditional Dai-style pavilions stand by the lake. The waters are pristine and gently rippling, making boating here a delightful and refreshing experience.
