Dai Ethnic Village

The Dai Ethnic Village is located 1 kilometer southeast of Jinghong City. It is a typical Dai village where houses are built in the "stilted" bamboo style, with bamboo fences separating households, forming individual courtyards. The surroundings are filled with fruit trees such as coconuts, bananas, and bamboo groves, presenting lush greenery everywhere and an exotic subtropical atmosphere.

Inside Manjinglan Village, there is also a street offering Dai-flavored foods. Visitors can go up to taste the dishes, and the hospitable hosts serve guests with sour, spicy, bitter, sweet, fragrant, and crispy Dai ethnic specialties, allowing them to learn about the lifestyle and customs of the Dai people. They can also watch and participate in traditional Dai folk song and dance performances, as well as purchase ethnic handicrafts such as Dai brocade, wood carvings, bamboo weavings, and pottery.
