Xishuangbanna Wanda Theme Park is the first international-level amphibious comprehensive theme park in Southwest China, as well as the first comprehensive theme park located within a rainforest in Asia. The park consists of a land-based theme park and a water-based theme park. The land-based theme park features five major themed zones: Jungle Adventure, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ancient Tea Horse Road, Butterfly Kingdom, and Waterfall Plaza. The park design fully incorporates the unique characteristics of Xishuangbanna, blending the original rainforest ecological environment with high-tech amusement rides to offer visitors the experience of strolling through a tropical jungle and enjoying a world-class theme park. The water-based theme park offers thrilling attractions such as Tornado Storm, Sonic Rapid, Carnivorous Flower, Giant Vine Dance, and Splash Bloom. The selection and design of the rides integrate the heritage of Xishuangbanna’s water culture and water worship, providing guests with a unique aquatic experience. Among them, Tornado Storm is the largest water slide tubing facility in Southwest China, accommodating up to six riders at a time and serving up to 1,080 visitors per hour. Riders can experience intense thrills and twists and turns, encountering 4 to 5 near-vertical drops before the final plunge out of the slide.
