Nabanhe River Basin National Nature Reserve

The Nabanhe River Basin National Nature Reserve is a national-level nature reserve.

The Nabanhe River Basin National Nature Reserve is located in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, about 25 kilometers from Jinghong, the prefectural capital. Its geographical coordinates are 22°04′–22°17′N latitude and 100°32′–100°44′E longitude, covering a total area of 26,600 hectares (approximately 400,000 mu). It was established as a provincial multi-functional, comprehensive nature reserve based on the concept of small watershed biosphere reserves in 1991, and was officially upgraded to a national-level nature reserve in April 2000 with approval from the State Council.
