Xishuangbanna Sunac Land Theme Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Sunac Xishuangbanna International Resort is situated in the northwest of Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna — a rainforest sanctuary in southwestern China. With the region’s distinctive cultural heritage and superior natural environment, and through partnership with top-tier international teams, it has been crafted as the most extensive and diverse cultural tourism resort in Southwest China to date, built to world-class standards.

Xishuangbanna Sunac Land is located in the northwest of Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna, approximately 4.6 kilometers from Jinghong Airport. Covering a total area of 61.1 hectares, the park is designed to receive around 3 million visitors annually, with a total investment exceeding 2 billion yuan. It was designed by a world-renowned theme park design firm, integrating elements such as Dai culture, internationally themed amusement rides, world-class performance theaters, and parade shows. It is a tropical rainforest-themed amusement park.

The theme park consists of four major zones: Jungle Adventure, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ancient Tea Horse Road, and Butterfly Kingdom. Vast transplanted tropical rainforests frame fourteen large-scale entertainment facilities, while exquisitely designed Southeast Asian-style architecture and whimsical treehouses and mushroom houses create a fantastical rainforest paradise.

Separated from the Sunac Land (land-based park) by a river, Sunac Water Park is designed around the theme of tropical rainforest plants and flowers. Its various water play features and slides are inspired by the shapes of rainforest flora, all infused with vibrant Dai cultural elements.

The design of the Dai Show Theater was personally overseen by internationally acclaimed artist Mr. Mark Fisher, Artistic Director for the opening and closing ceremonies of both the Beijing and London Olympics. Located in the northwest of Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, and covering an area of 3.64 hectares, the Dai Show Theater is an international modern technology theater invested in by Sunac Group with 2 billion yuan. It is also a venue that seamlessly blends Dai culture with high technology.
