The Ancestral Hall of the Liu Clan in Wawu is a cultural heritage site protected by Bijiang District.

The Ancestral Hall of the Liu Clan in Wawu. Situated to the north of Wawu Village in Wawu Township, the hall was first constructed in the 48th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1783), through fundraising efforts led by Liu Shaoji, the Chief Official of the Shixi Tusi, and Liu Shaoxun, the Chief Official of the Huangdao Tusi, who mobilized clan members across regions at the time. Originally designed as a two-courtyard complex, the building follows the contour of the mountain and is approached by steps. From front to back, it consists of a theater stage, the main hall, north and south wing rooms, and a rear hall (ancestral shrine), covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, and faces west while sitting east. Currently, the front courtyard, main hall, and north and south wing rooms remain, encompassing an area of 500 square meters. The main hall features three bays in width, with a front corridor, and is constructed using a post-and-lintel and Dougong (bracket arm) structural system. The memorial archway and theater stage have been altered by human intervention, but the three-tiered firewalls on the north and south sides are well-preserved. The courtyard is paved with flagstones. The Ancestral Hall of the Liu Clan in Siquan is the largest existing ancestral hall structure within Tongren.

Wawu Village: Wawu Village is located at the seat of Wawu Township government, 39 kilometers from downtown Tongren. The village covers a total area of 12.42 square kilometers. The Wawu River runs through the entire area, dividing the village into northern and southern sections. To the east, it faces Siquan Village across the river; to the south, it connects with the Cuixi villager group of Xikan Village; to the west, it borders Niuchang Village of Liulongshan Township; and to the north, it adjoins Kelanzhai Village.
