The Tomb of Xu Yixian is a cultural relic protection unit of Bijiang District.

Tomb of Xu Yixian. Xu Yixian (1606–1699), courtesy name Chihai, was a native of Tongren. He passed the imperial examination in 1638 during the ninth year of the Chongzhen reign of the Ming Dynasty and served as the Prefect of Chaozhou Prefecture in Guangdong. Later, he was appointed Vice Censor-in-Chief of the Guangxi Censorate. In the early Qing Dynasty, Xu Yixian participated in the resistance against the Qing for 18 years on behalf of the Southern Ming regime. After the fall of the Southern Ming, he spent his later years in seclusion at home, refusing to meet with government officials. He passed away in July 1699 (the 38th year of the Kangxi reign) at the age of 94. The tomb is located northeast of Huangjia Village Group, Chayuanshan Village, Yangtou Town, covering an area of 30 square meters. It features an earthen mound enclosed by stone, shaped like a round hill, standing 1.7 meters high with a base diameter of 3.8 meters. The tomb site is surrounded by a brick wall covering 40 square meters. The gravestone faces northwest and bears an inscription in intaglio regular script reading: “Tomb of Xu Chihai, the Late Father, Distinguished Scholar-official of the Ming Dynasty and Vice Censor of Guilin, Guangxi.” The Tomb of Xu Yixian is one of the important historical testimonies for the study of local history in Tongren during the Ming Dynasty.
