Taijiang Wenchang Palace

Taijiang Wenchang Palace is a cultural relic protection unit of Guizhou Province.

Wenchang Palace was first built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. Its main structure, the Wenchang Pavilion, is a three-story, hexagonal, pyramidal-roofed wooden tower surrounded by side halls. The entire building features a traditional Han Chinese architectural style, making it quite unique in this area known as the "heartland of the Miao region." The palace now houses the Guizhou Embroidery Museum and the Paleontological Fossil Museum.

Transportation: Wenchang Palace is located southeast of the county town and can be reached on foot.

Admission: 10 RMB.
