Longxiang Mountain Forest Park

Longxiang Mountain is situated at the border of Guizhou and Guangxi, 117 kilometers from the county seat. It falls under the jurisdiction of Dibin Township, with the land owned collectively, and reaches a maximum elevation of 1,162 meters. Owing to its high elevation, rugged terrain, limited accessibility, and remoteness from settlements, the forest vegetation on the mountain has not been damaged, maintaining a fully intact and primitive ecological environment. It is the best-preserved original-type natural forest in the county.

The Longxiang Mountain Protected Area spans 16,755 mu, including 10,245 mu of forested land, 270 mu of sparse woodland, 1,125 mu of shrubland, 975 mu of farmland, 4,050 mu of barren hills, and 6 residential settlements.

The dominant tree species in the forest include those from the Magnoliaceae, Taxaceae, and Fagaceae families. Rare species found here are Bretschneidera sinensis, Amentotaxus argotaenia, Taxus mairei, Cephalotaxus fortunei, Manglietia insignis, Tsoongiodendron odorum, Manglietia kwangsiensis, Diplopanax stachyanthus, and Emmenopterys henryi. The conservation type is a biodiversity nature reserve.
