Liping Bazhou River National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Liping Bazhou River National Wetland Park is located in Gaotun Town, Liping County, approximately 1 kilometer from Liping Airport. It has a planned total area of 596.3 hectares, with a wetland area of about 286.2 hectares, accounting for a wetland ratio of 48.02%.

Liping Bazhou River National Wetland Park in Guizhou is located at the junction of Guizhou, Hunan, and Guangxi provinces. The park’s water system belongs to the Dongting Lake basin of the Yangtze River, and it is also the main source of the Qingshui River, the second-largest river in Guizhou Province. As an ecological barrier for the Qingshui River and even the internationally important wetlands of Dongting Lake, the park holds significant ecological importance. The park features a well-preserved, pristine environment rich in biodiversity and a long-standing wetland culture. The composite wetland ecosystem, composed of rivers, marshes, reservoirs, rice paddies, and forests, is unique and typical of the karst low-hill river valley region on the southeastern edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau in China.
