Zhuan Shi Qi Guan Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Zhuan Shi Qi Guan Scenic Area is a classic representation of the gravity-type Danxia landform within the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site "China Danxia." The core attractions consist of two main parts: the naturally formed Danxia landform known as Zhuan Shi Qi Guan and the Dendrobium nobile Ecological Park. It is a model base for leisure agriculture and rural tourism, combining the appreciation of Danxia rock formations, the promotion of new Dendrobium cultivation technologies, and the showcasing of Dendrobium culture.

The scenic area is dotted with Dendrobium cultivation demonstrations and is nestled against the mountains, making it the most distinctive Dendrobium planting and exhibition base in Chishui City. Throughout the area, the rugged landscape features a variety of Danxia rock formations resembling natural objects such as lingzhi mushrooms, Buddhist scriptures, demon-repelling figures, and theatrical masks. Its centerpiece — the “Zhuan Shi Qi Guan” — is a perfect ensemble of striking rock formations: the “Immortal Boat Stone,” shaped like the corner of a ship’s bow; the “Dan Jing Stone,” resembling Buddhist scriptures; the vividly lifelike “Xu Fu Reciting Scriptures Stone”; and an ancient Dendrobium plant known as the “Dendrobium Ancestor,” discovered by scientific expedition members in the 1980s. Together, they create a breathtaking and awe-inspiring scene. The rocks throughout the scenic area are also covered with the “immortal herb” — Dendrobium nobile. When in bloom, the purple flowers carpet the hillsides in a magnificent display.
