Hengshui City is located in the southeastern part of Hebei Province, at the center of North China, within the Bohai Economic Rim, the Beijing Capital Economic Zone, and along the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. Situated on the alluvial plain of Hebei, the terrain gently slopes from southwest to northeast, with numerous rivers and wetlands, including nine major ones such as Qingliang River, Fuyang River, and Fuyang New River. The "Hengshui City Master Plan (2008–2020)" proposes that Hengshui should, in accordance with the requirements of scientific development, coordinate regional and urban-rural development, vigorously implement strategies of industrializing the city, strengthening agriculture, boosting commerce, and promoting urbanization. The goal is to build Hengshui into a “unique northern-style wetland eco-tourism base, regional transportation hub and commercial logistics center, supporting processing and manufacturing base focused on specialty industries, agricultural and sideline product supply and processing base, and technology transfer and application base” for the Beijing-Tianjin-Shijiazhuang area.
Boosting Urbanization and Tapping Eastern Potential
As a widely watched new urbanization initiative across the country, it not only carries the greatest potential for expanding domestic demand and driving sustained future economic growth in China, but also shoulders the strategic task of further liberating productivity and achieving social fairness and justice. The importance of urbanization to China’s economic and social development has gained broad consensus. For Chinese brands, urbanization presents both opportunities and challenges. Especially for Hengshui, urbanization carries even more meaning—it’s not just about creating an ecological environment and livable homes, but also about attracting talent and retaining it by building a desirable place to live.
Hengshui’s eastern region, seemingly a forgotten corner, actually boasts unique natural advantages. The Fuyang River meanders through the area, with beautiful surroundings along its banks, but the disadvantages brought by traditional industrial development are also evident. To keep pace with Hengshui’s rapid development, align with the national wave of new urbanization, and promote the “Five Camps” integrated leapfrog development of Hengshui, Jingxin has determined, in line with the city’s master plan, to develop a plot of land spanning 1.4 square kilometers—bordered by the eastern outer ring road of Hengshui to the east, Baimagou to the south, the Fuyang River to the west, and the town’s industrial zone to the north—into an eco-friendly, harmonious, and low-carbon energy-saving town. This town will serve as a model for Hengshui’s urban-rural integration and urbanization development, becoming a high-potential driver of growth in Hengshui’s eastern region.
Long-Term Planning for a One-Stop Eco-Livable Home
On May 28, 2013, the initial draft presentation of the "China·Hengshui Jingxin Happiness Town Project Market Research and Positioning Planning Report" was successfully held at Jingxin Group. Subsequent discussions addressed the feasibility of the plan, design details, development sequencing, and other specific issues, finalizing the project implementation plan.
Happiness Town is located on the eastern bank of the Fuyang River, where parts of the river section have already undergone municipal beautification, resulting in a pleasant overall environment and landscape. The construction of this project aligns with the national new urbanization approach of “guiding urbanization with the concept of scientific development.” It features multiple functional zones, including residential, logistics, trade, and leisure tourism, offering you a one-stop experience for all aspects of daily life. Parks, green spaces, protective greenery, and squares are interspersed throughout, complemented by the flowing river, making Happiness Town a truly living home.
Hengshui Jingxin Happiness Town, nestled along the Fuyang River and Baimagou, will present a genuine one-stop eco-livable home.
