Jiangjiehe Scenic Area is a national scenic area and a National AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jiangjiehe Scenic Area is among the seventh batch of national scenic areas announced by the State Council in 2009. The area is located 42 kilometers west of Weng’an County and combines natural landscapes, canyon scenery, revolutionary historical memorial sites, primeval forests, karst caves, and modern bridge architecture. Highlights include the Jiangjiehe Ferry site—where the Red Army fought to cross the Wujiang River—the Jiangjiehe Bridge, the Earth-Shaking Canyon, the Cliffside Cliff Carvings at Pianyan, and the Chuandong River Waterfall Cave—one of China’s top ten major waterfall caves—along with dozens of other uniquely featured attractions. These sites are like pearls scattered along three picturesque routes along the Wujiang, Yongjiang, and Xiangjiang rivers. Flowing springs and waterfalls, lush forests and bamboo groves, mysterious caves and quiet valleys, boating on the waves, and birds soaring along the riverbanks all create breathtaking and serene scenes.

Jiangjiehe Scenic Area is a high-mountain lake where stunning landscapes captivate visitors, making it an ideal destination for leisure, vacation, and tourism.
