Stone Forest on Water is part of the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area. Compared to the Stone Forest in Yunnan, Tianxingqiao’s Stone Forest on Water stands out for its “water” element — “water flows over stones, stones rise from water, and trees grow on stones” — which is a true depiction of this landscape. The water level in the scenic area remains constant, and the stones in the forest are naturally formed. After being processed, they are laid out as pathways that emerge above the water surface for visitors to walk on.

The main attractions in the Stone Forest on Water Scenic Area include the Silver Chain Waterfall and the Star Gorge Waterfall. Here, the riverbed is fan-shaped — wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, higher at the top and lower at the bottom — with a drop of more than 20 meters.
