The scenic area is named after its location at the confluence of the Namo, Zhekhan, and Nankong rivers. Zhenfeng Sancha River Scenic Area (provincial level) is situated in the central-northern part of the county, at a strategic point in southwestern Guizhou. It lies on the transitional zone between the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the Guangxi Basin, at an elevation of around 1,200 meters. The area features well-developed karst landscapes, clustered peaks, and a string of basins and valleys, offering a spectacular sight. It is a highland hilly scenic area characterized by serene, tranquil, beautiful, rugged, rustic, and mystical qualities. The main section of the scenic area is located in the downstream canyon of the Namo River, where a river-blocking dam has been constructed, forming a lake covering an area of 5 square kilometers. Within the lake are "Lotus Island" and "Peach Blossom Island." Lotus Island features stone caves, stone gates, stone lions, and stone steps for visitors to explore and rest. Surrounded by dense red maples and green willows, Peach Blossom Island is flat with lush green grass. Along the lakeshore, the Zhulinbao Stone Forest stands with its uniquely shaped, delicate rocks, which experts have dubbed a "bonsai stone forest."

Transportation

1. From Xingyi to Zhenfeng, minibuses run from 6:00 AM to 3:00–4:00 PM, costing 18 RMB and taking about 3 hours.

2. If traveling from Guiyang, take a minibus or bus from the passenger transport station to Zhenfeng County between 7:00 AM and 1:00–2:00 PM. Fares are around 50 RMB, with a journey time of about 6 hours. Upon arriving in Zhenfeng County, transfer to a minibus bound for "Zhexiang Town" for 4 RMB. After reaching Zhexiang Town, you’ll need to hire a car or walk 2 kilometers. Alternatively, if traveling in a group, you can hire a car directly from Zhenfeng County at a reasonable price.

To the east, it faces Liangtian Township of Zhenning County and Bangui Township of Guanling County across the Beipan River. To the west, it borders Xiaotun Township and Changtian Township. To the south, it connects with Minggu Town, and to the north, it neighbors Xingbei Town. The town covers an area of over 131 square kilometers, with its government seat located at the old market square in the town center, serving as the political, economic, and cultural hub of the area.
