Banpotang

It consists of the scenic landscape formed by the ruins of Lianyuncheng and the ancient post road through the jujube grove.

Starting from the old Panjiang Bridge and ascending the green hillside along the western post road, you’ll reach the site of the Ming-era Lianyuncheng ruins in about 300 meters. Built in the third year of the Chongzhen reign during the Ming Dynasty (1630), Lianyuncheng was referred to as the "New City" by Xu Xiake when he passed through here. Today, only remnants of the city walls and the stone water channels used for water diversion within the city remain.

Continuing another 300 meters uphill leads to "Old City" Banpotang, where the village is dotted with a jujube grove. The old twisted branches are gracefully scattered, creating a pleasant atmosphere, and the ancient post station beneath the trees can still be faintly discerned.
