The Buddha of Infinite Life Pagoda is a Jintang County-level cultural heritage site.

The Buddha of Infinite Life Pagoda was originally built during the Han Dynasty and restored in recent years. Located in Sanxue Temple Village, Qixian Subdistrict, the pagoda consists of 168 smaller pagodas, each engraved with 504 tiny stupas or Buddha images, totaling 84,000 miniature stupas—hence also known as the 84,000 Pagodas. In 1988, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the Jintang County People's Government.

Sanxue Temple Village: 1. General Information

Sanxue Temple Village is located northeast of Jintang County. To the east it neighbors Sanwang Village of Fuxing Town, to the west it connects with Tiandeng Village of Sanxing Town, to the south it borders Chuanfuhao Village of Sanxing Town, and to the north it adjoins Shibanhé Village. It gets its name from Sanxue Mountain within its territory and lies 3 kilometers from the county seat. The village covers an area of 7.8 square kilometers and comprises 12 villager groups. The region boasts beautiful mountains and rivers, and is said to be where Li Babai, one of the Eight Immortals of Shu, cultivated Taoism on three separate occasions.
