Cloud Top Ciyun Temple

Cloud Top Ciyun Temple is a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit in Chengdu.

Ciyun Temple, from the Qing Dynasty, is located in Yunding Village, Huaikou Town. It currently has a preserved construction area of 5,494 square meters and is well-maintained. In 1981, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit by the Chengdu Municipal People's Government.

Huaikou Subdistrict: Huaikou Town is situated southeast of Jintang County, Sichuan. It borders Huangjia Township to the east, Baiguo Town to the south, Jiulong Town to the west, and Zhaojia Town to the north. The elevation ranges from 425 to 915.5 meters. The town government is located at No. 23 Wenhua Street, 25 kilometers from the county seat. In 1999, the town covered an area of 47 square kilometers, with cultivated land spanning 31,861 mu, including 8,583 mu of paddy fields and 23,279 mu of dry land.

　During the Yuan Dynasty, it was part of Yangcun. In the Ming Dynasty, the Huai Kou Zhen Patrol Inspectorate was established here, named after the ancient Huai’an Army to the west of the town.
