Huaikou Dizhu Palace

Huaikou Dizhu Palace is a cultural relics protection unit of Jintang County.

Also known as Huangzhou Guild Hall, Dizhu Palace was built during the Qing Dynasty. Located in Tongxing Community, Huaikou Subdistrict, the palace faces northwest from the southeast and covers an area of 1,805 square meters. Its main hall and side rooms, featuring double-eaved hip-and-gable roofs and a permanent stage, are well-preserved. In 1988, it was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit by the People’s Government of Jintang County.

Huaikou Subdistrict: Huaikou Town is located southeast of Jintang County in Sichuan Province. It borders Huangjia Township to the east, Baiguo Town to the south, Jiulong Town to the west, and Zhaojia Town to the north. The elevation ranges from 425 to 915.5 meters. The town government is situated at No. 23 Wenhua Street, 25 kilometers from the county seat. In 1999, the town covered an area of 47 square kilometers, with 31,861 mu of arable land, including 8,583 mu of paddy fields and 23,279 mu of dry land.

　During the Yuan Dynasty, this area was part of Yangcun. In the Ming Dynasty, the Huaikou Town Patrol Inspectorate was established here, named after the ancient Huai’an Army to the west of the town.
