Jing Tian Palace

Jing Tian Palace is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Jintang County.

Jing Tian Palace, dating back to the Qing Dynasty, is located in Binjiang Community, Huaikou Subdistrict. It faces west with an eastward orientation, features a traditional courtyard layout, and covers an area of 942 square meters. The structure remains largely intact. In 1988, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the People’s Government of Jintang County.

Huaikou Subdistrict: Huaikou Town is situated southeast of Jintang County in Sichuan Province. It borders Huangjia Township to the east, Baiguo Town to the south, Jiulong Town to the west, and Zhaojia Town to the north. The elevation ranges from 425 to 915.5 meters. The town government is located at No. 23 Wenhua Street, approximately 25 kilometers from the county seat. In 1999, the town covered an area of 47 square kilometers, with cultivated land spanning 31,861 mu—8,583 mu of paddy fields and 23,279 mu of dry land.

　During the Yuan Dynasty, this area was part of Yangcun. In the Ming Dynasty, the Huaikou Patrol Inspectorate was established here, named after the ancient Huai’an Army to the west of the town.
